“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
I created this blog to document my path through the Catholic faith. It is in no way meant to act as a tried and true way of how to do things. I’m simply documenting what I learn, and things that interest me, and what I experience along the way, basically my spiritual journey, and maybe inspire others to reignite their faith or just understand our Catholic faith from a lay person’s perspective.
A little about me: I was baptized Catholic and made my First Holy Communion, but that was where it stopped. I can tell you the exact reason why it stopped, and that was because of $$$. Yep, the good ole root of all evil that my mom lacked because she was a single mother of 2 small kids in the late 70’s. The church at the time wouldn’t accept me as a charity case so further teachings halted.
FFWD 35 years. I’m a stay at home mom married to an amazing guy, have an amazing son, and one super psycho German Shepherd. I love my God, my family, Yoga, coffee, Tomasello wine, the ocean, gardening, reading, my police family, and sleep when I get it.
I would love for you to join me on my camino, share your experiences, ask questions (I’ll do my best to answer), or simply ask for prayers (I pray The Rosary almost daily and I love to pray for people, especially those that request it). HOWEVER, negative or judging comments will be deleted without an explanation… This is my camino and I do not welcome satan and his ilk here.
